Dear Performer,

Thank you for applying for our second Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival!

• The application for the festival is FREE in 2024! We look forward to receiving your applications!

 Please only apply if you are seriously interested and consider the costs (travel & accommodation) that you will incur when attending a festival. As we are a competition there are no payments for performing, That being said we are a non profit festival and we are working our way up each year if there is any profit made at the festival it will be used to pay performers.And we will of course help you find the best location to stay while you are here.

Please note: Uncompleted applications can not be considered.

1. DATES and DEADLINES

Application deadline: 10th February 2024

Notification to applicants: 29th February 2024

Dates of Festival 20-23 September 2024

20th September- Siannon Spirit Award

21st September- Heart of Ireland Award

23rd September- no competition- Burlesque Cabaret Cruise

2. TERMS OF AGREEMENT

• We ask all participating performers not to appear in any other Irish Burlesque Festivals two months prior this is to ensure we do not have the same lineup . We also ask that you do not perform at other Burlesque shows two weeks prior and after HOIBF Violation of this term can result in immediate disqualification 

• We are happy to announce with our new Venue all performers will receive a ticket for the show they are not performing in, and they will receive a plus 1 ticket for the night they are performing,

• All photography and video media taken over the weekend of the festival will be rightfully owed by HOIBF and will be used for future promotion
• Once accepted into HOIBF performers have to confirm within 7 days of notice.

• We will promote your appearance at our festival as much as we can, for example newspapers, radio, tv and all online media. As a competitor you will be expected to promote the festival on social networks or in interviews! Please list your participation on all your websites and social media profiles.

• Please note that all Video material must be made publicly available online, due to the high volume of applicants last year we request that we do not have to  log in anywhere, join any sites or download any material (YouTube or Vimeo prefered).

These regulations are essential, so please stick to them closely. Failure to follow the terms and conditions can lead to cancellation of the scheduled performer.

3. What are we looking for?

All Beautiful Creatures  are  welcome here! Whether newcomer or experienced performer. Please make sure you apply with a professional Burlesque act.

We fully accept acts you may have done before, we do not expect new acts for the festival, but if you have applied and were successful last year we ask that you apply with a different act.
